Overview: We are seeking a Bakery Assistant to join our team. As a Bakery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the bakery operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: - Assist with the preparation and production of bakery items, including measuring ingredients, mixing dough, and baking goods. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and storage areas. - Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality and presentation of bakery products. - Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries, taking orders, and handling cash register transactions. - Package and label bakery items for display or take-out orders. - Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment. - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. - Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and replenishing supplies as needed. Requirements: - Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating quantities. - Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or retail industry is preferred. - Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. - Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately. - Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.26 - $12.89 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
