Nowhere Bakery is a small woman-founded premium dessert company in Costa Mesa, CA. We are inclusive, fast-paced, hands on, and our goal is to change the way people think about dessert by offering allergen-friendly options that not only taste good but are good for our bodies.

It's an exciting time at Nowhere Bakery as we look to increase our production over the next year to cater to increased demand and make room for expansion. We are looking to hire a production manager to manage the operations and output of the kitchen.

To achieve this we're looking for someone who has experience in commercial baking and leading a team.

The successful applicant will be expected to:

• Manage both packing team and baking team (total of 7 people)
• Coordinate with packers to ensure efficiency in production
• Ordering of supplies
• Weekly collection of supplies from Santa Ana businesses
• Maintains production of desserts based on daily demand.
• Manages production from start to finish to ensure labor costs are within budget
• Works with the head baker to ensure all product meets quality standards throughout the bake
• Maintains a clean and sanitary environment.
• Ensures safety procedures are followed.
• Works at a fast pace and demonstrates a sense of urgency

We are interested in someone who possesses the following skills.

• Strong attention to detail is a must
• Knowledge of Shipstation and its intricacies is highly desired
• Knowledge of the Shopify platform
• Strong Computer Skills
• Good with numbers
• Quick learner
• Strong knowledge of numbers/google sheets - this is imperative as the majority of the role is understanding formulas for tally's
• Experience with budgeting
• Experience in high volume bakery environment
• Experience with large scale machinery is desired
• Ability to work autonomously
• Self-starter
• Must have a reliable car - hatchback or SUV preferredbut not necessary
• Ability to lift heavy bags of flour (50lbs)
• Strong time management skills
• Can do attitude
• Great communcation skills
• Knowledge of gluten free/paleo baking a plus but not expected
