Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Clerk jobs in Passaic, NJ

The Commercial Loan Officer independently sources new commercial relationships, focusing on the communities the Bank serves, predominately Sussex, Warren and Morris counties, while maintaining and developing an existing loan portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a plan to meet established performance goals through prospecting, networking, and leveraging internal business partners.
• Sourcing and closing on new banking relationships ensuring strong credit quality while maximizing revenue.
• Responsible for managing an existing portfolio, to include: client outreach, annual reviews and loan extensions, validating compliance and addressing exceptions.
• Expanding all banking relationships through thoughtful referrals and collaboration with business partners.
• Promote the Bank's presence and image in our communities through events, networking, and community service.

Education & Experience

• College degree.
• Commercial Lending experience.
• Underwriting experience.  Formal credit training, a plus.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Travel to branches, client locations and networking events.
• Professional office environment with moderate sound while in bank locations.
• Varied conditions at client and prospect places of business.
• Flexible hours required to fulfill business calls, networking and community events.
