Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager assists in the management of the loan processing operations team that originates, processes, and closes various types of loans. Implements processes and procedures to maintain accuracy and completeness of required documentation. Being a Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager monitors achievement of operating performance metrics and standards for speed, quality, and customer service. Develops solutions to resolve operational issues. Additionally, Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager oversees the preparation of reporting for internal departments and external agencies. Coordinates audit requests and processes. Develops training and communication mechanisms that inform the team of regulatory requirements and updates. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.   • Martin is seeking an experienced, dynamic Commercial Property Manager to join our collaborative team of professionals and manage a portfolio of multiple and/or single-building commercial real estate properties.

    As Property Manager you are accountable for all facets of performance and owner communication including but not limited to operations, financial, marketing and leasing. This is an onsite position based in our East Lansing office.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate all management related responsibilities with administrative staff, assistant property managers, other property managers, maintenance team, leasing, and accounting.
    • Develop, implement, and evaluate annual budgets for clients/owners.
    • Prepare cash analysis and financial forecasting reports for clients.
    • Communicate regularly with tenants, clients, and internal staff.
    • Oversee work orders, preventive maintenance work, capital work, invoice approval, project management and move-in and move-out coordination.
    • Maintain and update preventative maintenance logs and follow up accordingly.
    • Prepare and approve lease language, lease proposal forms, lease documents, and communication to tenant/leasing representative.
    • Prepare monthly written reports and compile month-end owner packages in conjunction with accounting and leasing teams.
    • Prepare ProCalc assessments and submit with each lease proposal.
    • Manage all renewals in conjunction with client.
    • Work in conjunction with accounting team to route/authorize all payments from client operating account.
    • Manage tenant delinquency and take required action as needed.
    • Responsible for meeting departmental and company objectives and timelines.
    • Proactive approach when dealing with investment objectives – provide and communicate ideas and insights to drive bottom line profitability.
    • Assist in new business pursuits and contract negotiations.
    • Use in-depth knowledge of policy, procedures, and business practices to achieve complex results.
    • All other tasks related to the assigned portfolio and company objectives.

    Ideal Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
    • 2-5 years’ experience managing real estate properties, preferably commercial
    • Real Estate Salesperson License with State of Michigan
    • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    • Working knowledge of Yardi software
