Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager assists in the management of the loan processing operations team that originates, processes, and closes various types of loans. Implements processes and procedures to maintain accuracy and completeness of required documentation. Being a Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager monitors achievement of operating performance metrics and standards for speed, quality, and customer service. Develops solutions to resolve operational issues. Additionally, Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager oversees the preparation of reporting for internal departments and external agencies. Coordinates audit requests and processes. Develops training and communication mechanisms that inform the team of regulatory requirements and updates. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     • Position Summary
      • The SPD Manager has direct oversight of the SPD department. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of area standards, policies, procedures and training programs necessary to ensure high quality of Sterile Processing.
      •  
      • This includes teaching, setting work assignments, updating and writing all policies and procedures for the department, mentoring and counseling of employees, maintaining inventory control of kits and instruments, and maintaining high quality standards for all processing within the department.
      •  
      • Works collaboratively with the Perioperative leadership, the leadership team, operating room staff, outside services staff, and SPD leadership and staff. Works on the service line up to a maximum of 6 hours a shift, as needed.
    • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
      • Education: Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in a related healthcare field preferred. Requires knowledge of operating room procedures, infection control, and patient care equipment and supplies at a level normally acquired through completion of an approved nursing school or related allied health program.
      • License/Certifications: Current license to practice nursing in the State of Maine or certification in Sterile Processing or Surgical Technology.
      • Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in a related healthcare field including Sterile Processing or the Operating Room environment. In-depth knowledge of operating room organization and procedures, processing standards and instrumentation, and ability to oversee and plan training programs at a level normally acquired through two to three years' progressively more responsible related experience.
      • Analytical abilities necessary to plan and evaluate training programs, policies and procedures; and to oversee and ensure successful operation of areas of responsibility under tight deadlines.
      • Interpersonal skills necessary to conduct formal orientation and training programs, provide effective leadership to assigned subordinates, and maintain cooperative working relationships with variety of nursing personnel within MMC and subsidiaries.
