Develops solutions to resolve operational issues. Additionally, Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager oversees the preparation of reporting for internal departments and external agencies. About this role:
We are seeking a Portfolio Manager to join Wells Fargo's Restaurant Finance team which specializes in providing financing for multi-unit branded retail businesses (primarily restaurants and convenience stores) that have a regional or national presence. This Portfolio Manager’s duties will include providing transaction support for new business origination working within established risk management guidelines and partnering with other members of the business development and portfolio management teams. This role will also have responsibility for developing strategies to create efficiencies around credit and origination data maintenance and reporting. This candidate will have experience with mid-to-large corporate financing transactions and should be prepared to contribute to some more complex transactions, including those with investment banking/capital markets components. This candidate will be part of a deal team and may participate in structuring and underwriting, and will be involved in the credit approval and monitoring processes. This candidate will have regular interaction with Restaurant Finance senior leadership and credit partners. This team member will be trained and mentored by more senior portfolio team members.
2 years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of, and experience with, financing transactions for mid-to-large cap restaurant operators, lending to consumer retail services industries, and commensurate real estate secured lending experience. Demonstrated success in sales, marketing and credit/portfolio management. Strong accounting skills and ability to analyze financial statements. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. High level of initiative and accountability. Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and internal partners.
Pay Range
