    Develop a scalable and effective technical strategy to support the rhythm of the business and organizational goals. Create and evaluate reports, dashboards, tabular models, and analytical insights to drive efficiency and business solutions. Develop process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis, and discussion of process alternatives in order to arrive at best practices. Plan and control activities that provide operational support for a business segment, group or team. Collaborate with cross functional teams to support multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership, and corporate compliance. Advise business groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration, and resource application. Ensure that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects to build off the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Telecommuting permitted less than 50%/week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.

    Minimum Requirements

     

    • Education: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering; IT; Telecommunications or other tech-related degrees. • Experience: 60 months of progressive, post-bachelor’s software-related, centralized and coordinated program, product, or project management experience and/or experience in designing, developing and releasing software products or services.• Education or Experience in: Azure Services; Coordinating program development of computer software applications/systems/services from design through product release; Managing software or business processes for operations, systems, projects, tools or policies; Unit & Regression Testing; Reporting; Power BI; and Data Analysis.

    Pay Range and Benefits Information

    The offered base pay range for this specific position (V5482284), in Redmond, WA, is $138,180 to $168,180 per year. Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. 

     

    At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others. U.S.-based employees also receive, per calendar year, up to 10 scheduled paid holidays, and up to 80 hours Holistic Health Time Off. Additionally, hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid vacation time, and salaried/exempt employees have Discretionary Time Off (DTO).
