Department Manager, Project Management, Operations

The Department Manager, Project Management, Operations, will support specified aspects of project management within the Operations Division, as well as serve as liaison to all other district divisions. Under the Direction of the Deputy Superintendent, Operations or his/her designee, the Department Manager, Project Management, Operations, will organize and coordinate the performance of all project management functions within and related to the Operations Division.

Responsibilities and tasks outlined in this document are not exhaustive and may change as determined by the needs of the district.

Qualifications:

Education: A master’s degree. Degree or formal training in project management or related degree preferred

Experience: Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in project management, education, or construction and management, with three (3) years of related management or supervisory experience preferred. Experience in public school administration, public school district administration, or other large diverse organizations preferred.

Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: Project Management Certification (PMP Certification) perferred.
