Bankruptcy Specialist is responsible for the documentation and filing of loan bankruptcy materials with the appropriate attorneys. Ensures full compliance with loan bankruptcy regulations. Being a Bankruptcy Specialist monitors accounts throughout the loan bankruptcy process and contacts appropriate party when necessary. Verifies the bankruptcy is secured and acquires a copy of the proposed Chapter 13 Plan on all secured accounts. Additionally, Bankruptcy Specialist captures Chapter 7 reaffirmation agreements to management for approval. Distributes account balances and interest rates to the secured and unsecured balances. Stays current with changing state specific bankruptcy laws. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company’s role is to responsibly manufacture and market USSTC smokeless brands to adult tobacco consumers in a financially disciplined way. You will be responsible for providing problem solving supporting to the in the manufacturing facilities of USSTC.
Specific accountabilities include:
• Providing on-shift troubleshooting for electrical control and process systems encountered during production, supporting areas such as packaging and processing.
• Analyzing data and applying problem solving techniques to implement improvements in support of various clients - including but not limited to: Engineering, Information Systems, Maintenance, Quality and Manufacturing.
• Applies problem solving techniques to facilitate design improvements for methods, processes, products, systems, documentation, and/or equipment.
• Providing PLC (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley) programming support for both continuous improvement and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
• Provide technical support for installation qualifications, operational qualifications, and production qualifications.
• Assist in developing and recommending spare parts lists for mechanical components for machinery, technical alternatives, and design improvements.
• Participate in technical discussions with internal and external (OEM) resources to resolve problems or issues with equipment.
• Provide technical support to Natural Work Teams and other problem-solving teams/initiatives.
• Strong familiarity with one or more types of production equipment, boilers, and air compressors. Mechanical experience with rotary equipment and distribution systems. Knowledge of engineering concepts, designs, charts, and layouts.
• Familiarity with common test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment.
• Determine project scope, specifications, and cost estimates for improvements to the plants and remote sites and provide budget projections.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work assignments in a multi-tasking environment with tight and changing deadline.
Qualifications include:
• Associates degree in a technical field and/or equivalent skills through proven experience
• 2 years of hands-on technical industrial work experience with process controls, PLC’s, and instrumentation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively participate in technical support teams to achieve optimal manufacturing efficiency.
• Strong computer skills with experience programming numerous control system and general office software applications.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and piping & instrumentation diagrams strongly encouraged
• Solid understanding of Rockwell/Allen Bradly electrical hardware such as motor starters, VFDs, remote I/O and servos would be helpful
• Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required
