Bankruptcy Specialist is responsible for the documentation and filing of loan bankruptcy materials with the appropriate attorneys. Ensures full compliance with loan bankruptcy regulations. Being a Bankruptcy Specialist monitors accounts throughout the loan bankruptcy process and contacts appropriate party when necessary. Verifies the bankruptcy is secured and acquires a copy of the proposed Chapter 13 Plan on all secured accounts. Additionally, Bankruptcy Specialist captures Chapter 7 reaffirmation agreements to management for approval. Distributes account balances and interest rates to the secured and unsecured balances. Stays current with changing state specific bankruptcy laws. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Bankruptcy Specialist works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. To be a Bankruptcy Specialist typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. POSITION SUMMARY : The ILSP Specialist, provides targeted educational and employment support to current and former foster care youth in the Solano ILSP program in addition to providing key data entry, clerical, programmatic, and operations support to the Solano Independent Living Skills Program of First Place for Youth by enrolling youth into the ILSP program.
This position will support youth to identify and work toward educational and employment goals that support their long term permanency as well as ensuring all office operations are working accurately and efficiently.
This post will provide light touch and intensive education services, case coordinate with external providers, link youth to community resources, and act as an advocate and resource in all youth services towards their education and employment goals.
The ILSP Specialist will facilitate and coordinate all intakes and enrollments for ILSP and support client in connecting them to adequate and client center services.
