The Server / Bartender is responsible for excellent customer service from the moment the customer enters the restaurant.

They will seat guests, take and serve orders, make sure the bar and dining area are well stocked and clean and complete any side work as assigned by the restaurant manager.

Duties / Responsibilities :

Prepare for and attend to customers upon entrance

offer consistent excellent service

Take and serve orders

Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products

Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen / bar staff

Handle any complaints or problems with a positive attitude

Issue bills and accept payment, ensuring accuracy

Opening and Closing Sidework as assigned by Manager

Bartending

Banquet Service

Must be flexible with scheduling and highly reliable

Able to work in fast paced environment

Required Skills / Abilities (education, prior work experience, special skills, etc.)

2 years experience in hospitality / restaurant industry

Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience, fine dining experience preferred

Attention to cleanliness and safety

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude

Responsible and trustworthy

Processing credit cards

Using Point of Sale software

Making change accurately

Operating a variety of equipment, such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea / soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
