POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position will be proficient in mixing, pouring and serving beverages in multiple Food and Beverage outlets; Service Bar, Banquets, Fire Kitchen, Craft House, and Room 188. Must ensure pours measurements are accurate and abide by standard beverage recipes. This position requires quick and accurate cash/credit transactions and balance receipts. This is a fast-paced position with continual customer contact.
The Bartender is proficient in multiple outlets of F&B and may/will be expected to work in multiple locations. This position serves as a dual rated position and may/will be assigned multiple positions within the F&B department such as Server, Cocktail Server, and Bar Back.
This position ensures the confidentiality, security and accuracy of guest’s records, and promotes positive guest and team member relations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and outstanding guest service to fellow team members, guests, vendors, etc. is expected. Regular attendance is required, and on occasion, later hours or weekend time may be required. A neat, well-groomed professional appearance is essential at all times.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The essential functions of the Bartender include but not limited to:
Mixes, pours and serves beverages.
Maintains and stocks supplies.
Keeps bar and lounge areas clean, sanitized and presentable.
Maintains high food safety and health standards
Checks ID and collects signatures for all card transactions.
Keeps receipts organized.
Attempt to limit problems related to customers’ excessive drinking by following established procedures.
Is courteous, friendly and helpful to our Guests and other team members.
Assists other team members when necessary.
Current on upcoming Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel Events.
Knowledgeable about menu and liquor items.
Abide by Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel standard beverage recipes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A High School Diploma or GED is required for this position.
SKILL, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of six (6) months of mixology experience required.
Must know State and County sanitation procedures and will be required to possess current Washington State Food Handlers Permit, Washington State Liquor License required, and a ServeSafe Permit, preferred. A pleasant personality, team oriented and enjoys working with in a fast-paced environment. Will comply with, all Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel Policies and Procedures, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions.
Must be a minimum of 21 years old and have the ability to obtain and retain a Washington State Class II Gaming License; successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
This position requires footwear with non-skid, slip resistant soles that will enable the team member to navigate a kitchen environment safely on floor surfaces commonly found in restaurants (i.e., smooth, wet and greasy restaurant quarry tile).
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger; handle; feel; or grip objects, stretch and/or reach with hands and arms; stoop; crouch or work in cramped or awkward positions; repetitive motions. This person may regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust to focus.

Primarily indoors and may be exposed to heavy smoke and fluctuations in temperature while in and around the Casino and/or Hotel. May be exposed to continuous exposure to water, heat, and may from time-to-time exposed to noise from slot machines, customers, music and public announcement system, as is common in a Casino and/or Hotel environment.
