Banquet Captain - Casino jobs in Ann Arbor, MI

We're looking for an experienced and hard-working individual to join our Banquet team.

The Banquet Captain will work hands-on with the banquet servers, bar and set-up to coordinate functions.

This is a fast-paced, demanding job where being organized, efficient and detail oriented are essential. The successful candidate will be excited to work at a fast-paced company and will have experience with customer satisfaction and outstanding service.

Responsibilities can include:

• Supervise and train banquet and contract staff
• Point of contact with the guest in the absence of the Banquet Manager
• Set up tables, chairs and all event space as needed
• Set up decorations.
• Set up a bar; Set up a buffet table.
• Work with A/V company
• Know the menus and be able to read BEO's
• Work independently with minimal supervision

This is a very independent position that requires a flexible schedule.

You will be on your feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time) and taking a hands-on approach to your work. Must be able to move tables, dance floors and heavy equipment up to 50lbs.

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
