DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruit, screen, and coordinate Eagle Mountain Casino’s Team Member needs by working with management to fill vacant positions.
- Track department count levels to ensure job postings are within the approved budget.
- Process requisitions, prepare advertisements, and job postings, both internal and external.
- Review applications for completeness and conduct reference/employment verifications.
- Assist applicants with the application process as needed.
- Coordinate and preside over interviews with hiring managers and/or supervisors.
- Coordinate and schedule applicants to meet with the Tule River Tribe Gaming Agency Background Agents.
- Responsible for monthly reconciliation of billing for Team Member licensing fees.
- Conducts new hire paperwork sessions and assists new Team Members with completing required documents.
- Assist with New Hire Orientation.
- Work closely with outside staffing agencies, and Tribal job opportunity programs.
- Attend job fairs, and employment opportunities with outside agencies.
- Generate reports that pertain to Team Member levels.
- Maintain and assist department head in updating all job descriptions.
- Respond to formal or informal surveys regarding department salaries, benefits, and classifications.
- Assists the Recruiting Coordinator in conducting job analysis and position audits to determine appropriate job classifications.
- Adheres to regulatory, legal, company, and departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain and updating applications in the Human Resources system.
- Maintain and update organizational charts.
- Explores the new recruitment channels and gives recommendations to Management.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all duties and responsibilities.
- All other departmental duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years’ experience in recruiting.
- Must have knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal labor laws.
- Must have strong verbal, written, communication, basic analytical skills, organizational, data, and clerical skills.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English; Bi-Lingual in Spanish preferred.
- Maintain consistent attendance and availability as needed for position.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be experienced and sensitive to working with diverse groups of people.
- Willingness to travel and attend trainings.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable through Eagle Mountain Casino’s insurance carrier.
- Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:
- While performing duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, and sit.
- Maintain emotional control under stress. Work with frequent interruptions.
- Repeatedly required to reach with hands and arms and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The noise level is usually low (office setting), increasing to loud when on the casino floor.
- Exposed to cigarette smoke, bells, ringing, and flashing lights when on the casino floor.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
- Must be able to perform the essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

SUPERVISES: None
HOURS: Monday – Friday 8:00AM-4:00PM; Hours may vary and some weekends
SALARY: $/hr. / weekly pay / overtime eligible
