Bighorn Airways, Inc. is seeking an experienced pilot to join our team, this position offers the opportunity to work with a wide variety of customers and employees and be involved in a growing company. 

This position requires flying a CASA 212 for the US Forest Service or Bureau of Land Management as well as overflow for FedEx and UPS during the Christmas peak season

We operate these aircraft in the Rocky Mountain Regions of the Lower 48, and in the state of Alaska  This job entails flying large aircraft at slow air-speeds in mountainous terrain with unfavorable weather conditions. You will be dropping Smokejumpers in remote locations, and dropping para cargo at low level. Point-to-Point Missions in IFR conditions are also required.

A strong background in low level flying is required, preferable in Ag. Strong customer skills and a positive attitude and the ability to work closely with others for an extended period of time is a must. Minimum 3500 total time, PIC in airplanes 2000 hours, PIC airplane multi engine land 200 hours, PIC turbo prop 100 hours, 250 hours PIC large aircraft, 200 low level, ATP with a valid First Class Medical.
Preferred 5000 total time 1000 hours PIC turbine multi-engine.
