- Oversee banquet events and ensure smooth operations from setup to breakdown
- Coordinate with event planners and clients to understand their specific requirements and expectations
- Manage a team of banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff
- Assign duties and responsibilities to staff members and ensure they are carried out efficiently
- Train new employees on banquet procedures, service standards, and safety protocols
- Monitor the quality of service provided by staff and address any issues or concerns promptly
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized banquet area
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
- Maintain inventory of banquet supplies, equipment, and linens
```Experience```
- Previous experience in shift management within the food service or hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Familiarity with culinary techniques and kitchen operations is a plus
- Experience working with POS systems for order processing and payment handling
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, staff members, and other departments
