As a Banquet Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for banquets, events, and special occasions. DUTIES
- Prepare and cook a wide range of menu items for banquets and events
- Follow recipes and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards
- Coordinate with the banquet team to ensure timely delivery of food
- Monitor food quality and presentation throughout the event
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a banquet or catering setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Experience in supervising or managing a team is a plus
