    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Collaborate with DOS/DOFB/General sales team to detail contracted group business with a principal focus on weddings/coach beginning at the point the contract has been signed.
    • Works with group from contract inception through function service.

    • Maintain up-to-date awareness of activities at the lodge.
    • Presents a professional image consistent with TFL standards.
    • Maintains awareness at all times of the effect of actions upon the experience of the guest.
    • Work with other TFL staff to establish a communication path and to ensure that needs of clients are met during their stay.
    • Manages the flow of information from the sales department to all other departments through the use of written and verbal communication that ensures the necessary information is received by all departments in a timely manner (ie. booking notices).
    • Attends pre-conference meetings with staff, and client, reviewing specifics of a function.
    • Attends weekly Ops and BEO meetings.
    • Reviews customer complaints with relevant staff and develops strategies for all areas of concern. Responds to guest complaints in a timely and appropriate fashion.
    • Exhibits teamwork, concern and understanding of the role of all other departments as it pertains to meeting the group’s needs.
    • Coordinates hiring, scheduling, training and general supervision of all banquet and set up staff.


    Supervisory Responsibilities


    Directly supervises employees in the Banquet Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
