Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Catering Manager to oversee our catering operations. The Catering Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of our catering services. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Duties: - Manage all aspects of catering operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery - Oversee a team of catering staff, providing guidance, training, and support - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation - Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences - Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of food and beverage items - Monitor inventory levels and control costs through effective inventory management - Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing strategies to attract new clients and increase business - Conduct regular performance evaluations of catering staff to ensure high-quality service delivery - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in catering services Requirements: - Previous experience in team management within the food service industry, preferably in catering or hospitality - Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and health regulations - Proven ability to effectively manage inventory control and cost management - Experience working in a hotel or restaurant setting is highly desirable - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Exceptional organizational and time management abilities - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly - Proficient in computer software applications such as MS Office Suite We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
