Being a Banquet Manager develops and maintains banquet accounts by ensuring customer satisfaction before, during, and after the event. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Banquet Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Banquet Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Introduction:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Banquet Attendant to join our team and provide exceptional service to our clients during events and meetings. The Banquet Attendant will be responsible for setting up and breaking down banquet tables and serving food and drinks to guests in a timely and courteous manner. The successful candidate will have strong customer service skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must be available to work any shift including nights, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
Set up and break down banquet tables, including laying linens, setting up tableware, and arranging centerpieces
Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and courteous manner, including refilling drinks as needed
Assist with organizing and setting up events and meetings
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including adhering to cleaning schedules and safety protocols
Handle customer complaints and concerns with grace and professionalism
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar role is preferred
Strong customer service skills
Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus
