Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Banquet Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee banquet events, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Duties:

- Supervise banquet staff, including training and scheduling
- Manage banquet setup, service, and breakdown
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely and quality food service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain inventory control for banquet supplies and equipment
- Manage cash handling procedures and POS transactions
- Conduct shift management duties efficiently
- Collaborate with catering teams to deliver high-quality banquet services

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in hospitality management, specifically in banquets
- Proficiency in Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Strong interviewing and supervisory skills to lead banquet staff effectively
- Knowledge of inventory control practices for banquet operations
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and securely
- Familiarity with catering processes and event planning
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and staff effectively
