The Wylie Inn and Conference Center is seeking Full Time Banquet Servers to join their team of dedicated professionals

The Wylie Inn & Conference Center employees are part of the Endicott College community and share in the beautiful campus offerings.

Endicott is located 20 miles north of Boston and accessible by public transportation. The parking is free and the beautiful beaches are close by!

Situated on a picturesque stretch of the Atlantic Coast on Boston’s North Shore, the Wylie Inn and Conference Center at Endicott College offers well appointed, comfortable accommodations with an on-site café restaurant and bar;

state of the art IACC certified conference center and an elegant social event venue, Tupper Manor. The Wylie Inn and Conference Center is ideal for a weekend getaway, retreat or conference.

This lush 10-acre inn and conference center is just minutes away from historic downtown Salem, restaurants, scenic Cape Ann, shopping, museums and more.

The primary responsibilities of the Banquet Server are :

• Set up banquet room as instructed by Banquet Captain to include linen, service ware and glassware
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner
• Serve the food and / or beverage in the order and to the expectation of the Banquet Captain to ensure consistency in the order throughout the banquet
• Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and / or meal at the end of the meal or function
• Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction
• Practice Teamwork" and "Clean as you go" policies
• Once banquet is complete, reset banquet room according to Captain's specifications to ensure the readiness of the room for the following function as well as sanitation of banquet areas.

Qualifications include :

• Must by over 18 years of age
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food / beverage weighing up to 20-25 lbs.
• Be able to keep a fun upbeat attitude during times of high business volumes
