Summary:
Responsible for maintenance, prep and light repair of various outdoor power equipment and various shop maintenance duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Retrieve proper equipment per sales invoice
- Unpacking and assembling new equipment
- Test and ensure equipment are in good, safe working order
- Demonstrate product to customers in a professional manner
- Supports Sale Department in an effort to ensure a positive customer experience
- Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, work areas and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Assists with inventory control
- Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, co-workers and management
Qualifications and Competencies:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year in a mechanic type position
- Must be able to read and follow manufacture equipment manuals.
- Proficient with standard desktop software
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks
- Careful attention to detail; careful attention to numbers
- Basic math skills are required.
Physical Demands:
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Schedule
Full Time position. 40-45 hours a week, additional hours may be required during peak season (March-June)
Pay Range
$17.00-19.00/ hourly based on experience
