We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Banquet Set-up to join our team. As a Banquet Set-up, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our banquet events are set up and executed flawlessly. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet rooms, ensuring that all tables, chairs, linens, and other necessary items are properly arranged. You will work closely with the banquet team to provide exceptional service to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and decorations
- Ensure that all equipment and supplies are in place and functioning properly
- Assist with the transportation of food and beverage items to the banquet area
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events
- Collaborate with the banquet team to ensure smooth execution of events
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of banquet rooms after events
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service, hotel, bartending, catering, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team and take direction from supervisors
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
