Duties:
- Assist in the set-up and breakdown of banquet rooms for events, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations
- Arrange tables and chairs according to event specifications and floor plans
- Set up audiovisual equipment and ensure proper functioning
- Prepare and arrange food and beverage stations, including coffee stations
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed
- Provide excellent guest services by promptly addressing any requests or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient service delivery
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate set-up according to event requirements
- Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to handle food safely
- Familiarity with the hospitality industry and guest service standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
