As a Cannabis Joint Roller at Hold Up Roll Up, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and helpful experience for every customer. You'll be responsible for:

• Proficiently hand-roll cannabis joints with precision and consistency, ensuring each product meets quality standards.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, welcoming manner, providing guidance and recommendations based on their preferences and desired experiences.
• Tailor cannabis joints to meet individual customer preferences, such as size, potency, and flavor profile while minimizing waste and maximizing quality.
• Adhere to all state and local regulations governing the preparation and sale of cannabis products, including age verification and packaging requirements.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace, adhering to hygiene protocols to ensure product safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations, contribute to a positive work environment and notifying management when supplies/inventory need replenishing.
• Stay informed about industry trends, techniques, and innovations related to cannabis rolling methods, continually seeking to enhance skills and expertise.
• Educate customers about different rolling techniques, accessories, and best practices for enjoying cannabis products responsibly and safely.
• Serve as a brand ambassador for Hold Up Roll Up, embodying its values and commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and responsible consumption.
• Participate in Social Media marketing and advertisements. Using store content, images, and other social content involving Hold Up Roll Up to help build the store brand.
• Address any customer concerns or issues related to rolled products promptly and professionally, seeking solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of rolling activities, including quantities produced, strains used, and any relevant data for compliance and inventory management purposes.
• Drive customer engagement and store/brand loyalty.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 21 years of age with a valid New York State ID.
• Prior experience in hand-rolling cannabis joints. A demonstrated proficiency in rolling techniques and a track record of producing high-quality joints are preferred.
• Strong customer service experience with a focus on building rapport and exceeding expectations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with a strong work ethic.
• Passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to responsible retail practices.

Bonus Points:

• Prior experience in the cannabis industry.
• A solid understanding of different cannabis strains, their properties, effects, and suitability for various preferences and needs. Familiarity with cannabis culture and industry trends is also beneficial.
• Bilingual English/Spanish (or another relevant language).
