As a Banquet Set-up, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our banquet events are set up and executed flawlessly. - Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations
- Arrange and organize tables, chairs, and other furniture to create an inviting and functional event space
- Assist with food preparation and presentation, including plating and garnishing dishes
- Ensure that all necessary equipment, such as audiovisual systems or microphones, are properly set up and functioning
- Provide excellent guest service by promptly addressing any requests or concerns during events
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth execution of events
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper sanitation practices throughout the eventRequirements:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and guests
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
