Banquet Set-Up Supervisor - Casino jobs in Portsmouth, NH

We are seeking a friendly and detail orientated individual to join our Banquet Set-Up team at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel!

There is an AM position and a PM position available for this role.

The Banquet Set-Up team plays a crucial role in our banquet department. Ensuring the space is set accurately and in a timely manner is a key element in the way our team creates remarkable experiences for our guests.

Daily activities for the Banquet Set-Up team include tasks such as creating function room furniture sets according to event orders, breaking down and properly storing and caring for banquet furniture and equipment, refreshing rooms as needed, maintaining and organizing supplies, etc.

Qualifications for the Banquet Set-Up team include the ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends; the ability to walk/stand for up to 5 hours at a time, and the ability to lift/move at least 50 lbs. This role requires bending, stretching, stooping and extensive lifting.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
