Job Title: Freelance Traveling Hairstylist/Barber for Special Needs and Elderly Clients

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and to provide high-quality hair care services to clients who face challenges accessing traditional salon environments. Responsibilities:

• Hair Care Services: Perform professional haircuts, styling, grooming, and hair treatments tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Creative Adaptation: Demonstrate creativity and adaptability in providing hair care services to clients with mobility issues or special needs. This may include adjusting techniques, equipment, or environment to ensure optimal comfort and safety.
• Consultation: Engage in thorough consultations with clients and their caregivers to understand specific preferences, concerns, and any special requirements related to the haircutting process.
• Compassionate Companionship: Foster a supportive and caring environment by offering companionship, understanding, and empathy to clients during their grooming sessions.
• Client Education: Provide guidance and education to clients and caregivers on proper hair care techniques, products, and maintenance routines to promote overall well-being.
• Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for both clients and yourself.
• Schedule Management: Efficiently manage your schedule to accommodate appointments at various locations, ensuring timely arrival and flexibility to accommodate any unexpected changes.

Requirements:

• Professional Qualifications: Possess a valid cosmetology or barber license, with demonstrated proficiency in haircutting, styling, and grooming techniques.
• Experience: Prior experience working with elderly individuals, people with dementia, or individuals with special needs is highly desirable.
• Compassionate Nature: Display genuine empathy, patience, and understanding towards clients facing physical or cognitive challenges.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and team members, ensuring clear understanding of client needs and preferences.
• Reliability: Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and professionalism in all interactions and appointments.
• Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to varying schedules, client needs, and environments, while maintaining a positive and accommodating attitude.
• Own Transportation: Possess a reliable mode of transportation to travel to client locations, along with necessary tools and equipment for providing hair care services.
