Dharma Kava Lounge in Largo, FL is looking for one kavatender to join our team. We are located at 13328 66th St. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, personable, hard-working, and experienced in hospitality.

This job is tipped-wage. Base wage ranges from $11.00-12.00. Average hourly combined wage ranges from $20-30/hr.

After 90-day, team members receive their first quarterly evaluation and raise-up to $1.00 the first two quarters. Most employees receive a full $1.00 raise at their first evaluation.

Responsibilities

*Interact regularly with customers ensuring a positive experience. *Coordinate and facilitate barback's tasks to ensure timely execution. *Accurately process and reconcile shift payment transactions. *Upsell to customers and present ideas at staff meetings to increase productivity and outreach. *Brewing tea/coffee. *Being responsible for learning and being able to explain the various types of kava, exotic tea, and other products we serve, as well as our menu.

Qualifications

*Outgoing and engaging personality. *Strong communication and listening skills. *Able to resolve conflicts quickly and efficiently. *At least 1 year of hospitality-related experience. *Knowledge of kava/exotic teas is a big plus. *Experience in a leadership roles allows room for advancement. *Serve Safe certification is a big plus. *Exceptional customer service skills.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $11.00 - $30.00/hour.
