Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Collect payment from customers and provide accurate change
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible drinking practices
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area for events or banquets
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
Experience:
- Previous experience in bartending or related field preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling and making change
- Familiarity with retail math for inventory management purposes
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with a diverse clientele
- Understanding of hospitality industry standards.
