Bartender prepares cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages for customers. Has knowledge of common drinks and makes suggestions to customers. Being a Bartender monitors bar inventory and takes appropriate action. May require a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, Bartender typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Bartender works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Bartender typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. This position requires previous serving experience comparable to a hotel of this stature or greater. Applicant must be 21 years of age or older, have or be prepared to obtain a Food Handling Certificate, and possess or be prepared to obtain an Alcohol Certification Card. Applicant must be familiar with food and beverage operations and be prepared to meet and exceed our guests’ expectations.
