Required Skills

• Perform all assembly functions at an acceptable standard level
• Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the installation, setup and repair of machinery
• Use Power tools as required
• Reports all damaged goods and or scrap to supervisor
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience

• Must have some assembly experience
• Must be able to read and understand shop drawings
• Must be knowledgeable in the use and operation of all hand power tools
• Must be able to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
• Has some knowledge of proper maintenance of equipment under this classification
• Must be capable of working under minimum amount of supervision
• Able to effectively communicate
• Able to build and maintain lasting relationships
• Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines
• Must have excellent attention to detail.
