The position of Battery Energy Storage Specialist will be based out of our Fall River, MA location!

Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Battery Energy Storage System Sales Specialist to lead the identification, partnership vetting, training, and sales support for battery storage systems.

This role will involve collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, training teams, and formulating responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) related to Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

What You'll Do

• Demonstrate commercial and technical acumen related to assigned technology segment(s). Subject Matter Expert of assigned technology segment(s)
• Lead and support sales efforts with key targets, key customers, and key opportunities in area / region
• Identify customer needs, proposes solutions, and close orders
• Present proposals to all levels of leadership and technical audiences
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
• Participate in product meetings, seminars, and training schools to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge
• Assist branches and customers with product, technical support, and training
• May analyze market potential, develop an annual business plan based on market conditions, and lead execution with local technical, sales, and management team
• Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma / GED required
• 4 years of experience
• Electrical distribution industry or related experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical), Business, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
