Our updated 520,000-square-foot hospital opened in December 2020.  This state-of-the-art facility provides exceptional care to all of our patients, with the most beautiful views in the area, located centrally in Vail.  Sign on bonus, relocation and housing available!     About the opportunity: The Behavioral Health Outpatient Supervisor (BHOPS)/Clinical Psychologist will provide comprehensive outpatient individual, family, couples, and group therapy services to the Summit and Eagle County community. The supervisor will also be responsible for the clinical supervision and oversight  of all outpatient Behavioral Health Providers (LPC, LCSW, Psychologists), will provide support to outpatient student training programs, and will provide operational support for the department.    What you will do: Under the supervision of the Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health, the Behavioral Health Outpatient Supervisor (BHOPS)/Clinical Psychologist provides general outpatient behavioral health services to a diverse population of outpatients clients. Services will include individual, couples, and family-based therapeutic services. The BHOPS/Clinical Psychologist will be required to maintain a caseload of minimally 24 billable clinical hours per week. Services will include individual, group, and family-based therapeutic services focusing on interdisciplinary treatment of complex behavioral health disorders. This includes maintaining a caseload of minimally 24 - 26 billable clinical hours per week, which includes facilitating a required 1 to 2 groups per week. This position will maintain a comprehensive caseload that is based on community need, patient population need, and services will be delivered across all Outpatient Clinics. The Outpatient Clinical Psychologist will also provide clinical services exclusive to doctoral level clinicians, such as psychological assessment and neurological evaluation. This position will support doctoral level trainees through the Eagle Valley Behavioral Health Psychological Assessment Clinic. In addition to direct clinical services, the BHOP Supervisor provides clinical oversight the all outpatient behavioral health providers (oversight of approximately 15 clinicians). The BHOPS will provide, at minimum, individual 1 hour of clinical supervision to all Behavioral Health Providers (BHP) on a biweekly basis. Clinical supervision includes a review of caseload, productivity, case conceptualization, feedback on documentation, and review of compliance metrics. The position will also provide back-up coverage for other supervisory clinical staff. This position will also manage Behavioral Health Provider (BHP) schedules, time-off requests, and other logistical requests. This position will work with the Manager of Practice Management, Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health, and the Vail Health Behavioral Health Compliance Team to ensure team compliance with all Community Mental Health Center, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and other regulatory requirements. This includes participating in meetings, performing chart audits, and completing monthly data reporting. Maintains excellence clinical documentation in alignment with local, internal, state, federal, and regulatory standards, and compliance. It is intended to be an accurate reflection of the general nature and level of the job.   What you will need:   Experience: 5 years of experience in an outpatient or community behavioral health setting. 3 years of providing clinical supervision to behavioral health providers as a Licensed Psychologist. Understanding of Colorado laws and regulations as they relate to the mental health practices, privacy, confidentiality, supervision, and ethical delivery of care. Experience overseeing accurate and timely data collection and data reporting to include Medicaid billing or reporting requirements. Behavioral Health Provider License issued by the state of Colorado with 5 years of applicable behavioral health experience under the behavioral health license. Expertise in American Psychological Association (APA) ethical codes and applicable statutes. Rural behavioral health experience with specific knowledge of resources and community agencies specific to Eagle County preferred. Ability to work well within the organizational structure Bilingual Strongly Preferred License(s): State of Colorado Licensed Psychologist (PSY) Certification(s): N/A Computer / Typing: Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc. Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.   Education: Doctoral degree in counseling psychology, clinical psychology, or related field. Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per year. Yearly Pay: $88,850 — $165,007 USD   Some roles may be based outside of our Colorado office (remote-only positions). Roles based outside of our primary office can sit in any of the following states: AZ, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NJ, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WI.
