The qualifications they seek include a Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, alongside state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent. They would also prefer a candidate who has at least two years of clinical experience providing behavioral health services.

As a Behavioral Health Counselor, your responsibilities will encompass conducting comprehensive assessments, collaboratively devising personalized treatment plans, and conducting individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-backed therapeutic techniques. Your adeptness in monitoring clients' progress, providing crisis intervention, and fostering collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals will be central to ensuring holistic care. Your commitment to maintaining meticulous and confidential client records, staying informed about the latest industry developments, and actively participating in supervision and team endeavors will all be integral to your role.
