Behavioral Health Case Management Manager manages a staff of case managers responsible for emotional, mental or psychological patient care coordination. Evaluates performance of case managers. Being a Behavioral Health Case Management Manager ensures care provided is in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Behavioral Health Case Management Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Behavioral Health Case Management Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Behavioral Health Case Management Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Looking for 6 or more years of experience with IDD or a licensed social worker and/or a bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing, Special Education or a closely related field. You will be working with Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. You will make phone calls, meetings and have monthly visits to address any concerns the Individuals may have. You will be responsible for following up on appointments and any issues that may arise. A Case Manager is required to ensure the individual is receiving the requested services and each of their needs are being met. You will be required to ensure the individuals health and safety.
