Behavioral Health Case Management Manager manages a staff of case managers responsible for emotional, mental or psychological patient care coordination. Evaluates performance of case managers. Being a Behavioral Health Case Management Manager ensures care provided is in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Behavioral Health Case Management Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Behavioral Health Case Management Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Behavioral Health Case Management Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Title: Service Coordinator (Mental Health Case Manager)
Job Duties: The Service Coordinator (Mental Health Case Manager) assesses clients to identify individual problem areas necessitating treatment and complete assessments. The Service Coordinator (Mental Health Case Manager) also coordinates the interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning efforts among the multidisciplinary treatment team. In this capacity, the Service Coordinator (Mental Health Case Manager) coordinates the overall treatment plan implementation for the client on the unit, working closely with the nursing staff to ensure continuity of treatment efforts.
Schedule: Full-Time
- AM & PM Sun-Thurs, Tues-Sat
Qualifications:
- Prefer a bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a field related to mental health.
- Two (2) years of full-time experience or part-time equivalent in a mental health setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of DSM-V and psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery principles.
