Behavioral Health Director oversees the study and treatment of patients with emotional, mental, or psychological disorders. Develops, implements, and updates strategic initiatives, programs, and services. Being a Behavioral Health Director manages and directs the operations of behavioral health services. Uses knowledge of behavioral health research and trends to ensure the department's practices are up-to-date and effective. Additionally, Behavioral Health Director establishes training programs and supports and supervises staff. Ensures all behavioral health operations comply with clinical guidelines and regulations. Requires an advanced degree in psychology or related field. Typically reports to top management. The Behavioral Health Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Position Overview
The Behavioral Health Regional Director is responsible in assisting with the supervision and monitoring of the Practice Managers in the behavioral health operations sites. The Behavioral Health Regional Director will be responsible for the behavioral health operational activities of the Network in an effort to maximize growth and stability, as well as providing administrative duties to Network.
Hours of Position
The general hours for this position are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, with some evenings and weekend flexibility as needed.
Compensation
The starting salary for this position is $70,000, however, PHN recognizes experience, education and site location when determining wage.
