Behavioral Health Director oversees the study and treatment of patients with emotional, mental, or psychological disorders. Develops, implements, and updates strategic initiatives, programs, and services. Being a Behavioral Health Director manages and directs the operations of behavioral health services. Uses knowledge of behavioral health research and trends to ensure the department's practices are up-to-date and effective. Additionally, Behavioral Health Director establishes training programs and supports and supervises staff. Ensures all behavioral health operations comply with clinical guidelines and regulations. Requires an advanced degree in psychology or related field. Typically reports to top management. The Behavioral Health Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Behavioral Health Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     The Position we are seeking:

    We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Operations Director to provide operational leadership and consultation for our Palmer RTC facility. As the Operations Director, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, and supporting the facility's treatment program and philosophy.
    • Operational Leadership:
      • Oversee day-to-day facility operations for efficiency and effectiveness.
      • Manage vendor contracts for quality and cost-effectiveness.
      • Support program development and enhancement at Palmer site.
      • Manage vendor contracts for quality and cost-effectiveness.
      • Ensure high-quality patient care, aligning with organizational values and policies.
    • Safety Compliance and Oversight:
      • Ensure safety compliance and supervise safety elements.
      • Participate in safety plan development, fire safety, hazardous material management, and record maintenance.
      • Intervene in immediate threats and report to relevant committees.
      • Assess facility maintenance needs and recommend actions.
      • Collaborate on risk event support and reporting
      • Ensure compliance with laws, standards, and regulations in policies and procedures.
    • Client Rights and Collaboration:
      • Maintain communication with referral sources, family members, and uphold confidentiality and client rights.
      • Support client rights program and interdepartmental collaboration.
      • Uphold confidentiality and patient rights, staying informed about mental health laws.
    Qualifications:
    Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should have:
    • Clinical Expertise: A bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field.
    • Operations Expertise: 2 (two)years direct experience in management, leadership, staff education.
    • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
