Behavioral Health Director oversees the study and treatment of patients with emotional, mental, or psychological disorders. Develops, implements, and updates strategic initiatives, programs, and services. Being a Behavioral Health Director manages and directs the operations of behavioral health services. Uses knowledge of behavioral health research and trends to ensure the department's practices are up-to-date and effective. Additionally, Behavioral Health Director establishes training programs and supports and supervises staff. Ensures all behavioral health operations comply with clinical guidelines and regulations. Requires an advanced degree in psychology or related field. Typically reports to top management. The Behavioral Health Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Behavioral Health Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Children's Therapy Place is the only full-service outpatient pediatric therapy clinic in the Treasure Valley. Our clinics provide Mental Health counseling, behavioral and developmental support through our Developmental Disabilities Agency, Speech and Language services, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy,.
     
    We are currently looking for an Director of Behavioral Health Services to join our Boise based DDA team.

    What you will do:

    The Director of Behavioral and Mental Health Services is responsible for leading and directing the successful performance of the Behavioral Health departments of the company. This position also works closely with the Director of Therapy and Administration to monitor and plan for the financial and organizational success of the company.
     
    The Director of Behavioral and Mental Health Services is responsible for:

    Assuring that the CTP Mission, Values and Priorities are central in all business activities
    by:
    • Organizational culture nurturing and advancement through employee engagement policies and procedures, maximizing efficiencies, etc.
    • Create/promote positive workplace culture/environment that centers around Mission, Vision, and Core Values.

    Performance targets and goals achievement by:
    • Deliver and develop performance metrics to include efficiencies, accountability reporting, profitability, and growth.
    • Develops and achieves department goals and goals of direct report staff quarterly and annually and assure accountability of managers and staff toward goal achievement.
    • Overseeing successful achievement of company goals and goals of Directors quarterly and annually.
    • Develop, review, and implement policies and procedures for the company and ensure departmental policies and procedures are reviewed, updated, and enforced.
    • Maintain awareness of CTP financial status to generate and maintain plans to increase company profitability and growth.
    • Develop growth plan annually with Owner/CEO including expansion, acquisitions, and Management of structural organization of CTP.
    • Coordinate and assist with all contracts and partnerships with schools and other entities within the community.

    Strategic growth thru Marketing and Business Development (including M&A)
    • Assist with development of annual marketing plan.
    • Assist with analyzing and investigation of price, demand, and competition.

    Mentoring and leadership of direct reports (Mental Health, DDA, CBRS, and ABA)
    • Assure their individual and collective success in meeting all goals, targets and expectations.
    • Assure successful achievement of Owner/CEO driven organizational goals, strategic planning, and business development.
    • Provide timely feedback and reporting to Owner/CEO on QA tracking, goal progress, growth objectives, etc.
    • Promote growth with development of new programs, employee development, hiring of qualified staff, expansion of services and facilities and stabilization of current practices and systems.
    • Stay up to date on Insurance, Medicaid, ITP policy changes and update appropriate staff.

    Application Requirements:
    • Master's degree with as a LCPC.
    • Clinical licensure in the state of Idaho.
