Behavioral Health Director oversees the study and treatment of patients with emotional, mental, or psychological disorders. Develops, implements, and updates strategic initiatives, programs, and services. Being a Behavioral Health Director manages and directs the operations of behavioral health services. Uses knowledge of behavioral health research and trends to ensure the department's practices are up-to-date and effective. Additionally, Behavioral Health Director establishes training programs and supports and supervises staff. Ensures all behavioral health operations comply with clinical guidelines and regulations. Requires an advanced degree in psychology or related field. Typically reports to top management. The Behavioral Health Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Behavioral Health Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Requirement:

    -Registered Nurse, licensed in Arkansas.
    -Minimum bachelor's degree in nursing, MSN preferred.
    -Minimum of 3 years' experience in Behavioral Health leadership.

    Responsibilities:

    The Program Director role assists in the development and implementation of patient care programs, policies and procedures that dictate how patients’ care needs are assessed and met in the specified unit and services. This role includes responsibility for: ensuring standards for patient care are established and maintained and provide a consistent standard of care to all participants; Implementing and monitoring an effective, ongoing program to measure, assess and improve the quality of care delivered to participants; assisting with and promoting marketing, community relations related to the specified units and services; and assisting in expanding the continuum of services by exploring market needs and opportunities and responding with new program design, implementation and evaluation. May provide services for various patient populations. Supervises care provided based on defined standards of patient care and practice.

    Salary: $100,145.25 - $130,572.77 per year
