Summary: The primary role of a Captain is to supervise and monitor all shift’s activities and adherence to security procedures. Shift activities include, but not limited to, visitation, meals, medical, recreation, programming, the receiving and discharge of detainees and emergencies that may arise. The Captain conducts ongoing inspections to maintain security, sanitation and overall order of the facility.
