Position Overview:

The Job Captain will play a crucial role in our project development process, capable of leading projects independently and supporting higher-level staff in producing comprehensive and detailed contract documents. The Job Captain is responsible for project detailing, drafting, quality assurance, scheduling, and budgeting. The Job Captain should have exceptional experience and familiarity in Revit and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply extensive knowledge of multifamily and mixed-use commercial/retail planning and design.
• Prepare and revise architectural documents, ensuring coordination with engineering documents and project manuals.
• Lead the production team in creating construction documents, ensuring accuracy and coordination across all trades and material schedules.
• Navigate relevant codes, including IBC, MBC-780 CMR, ADA, and Title 24, and understand local building and safety practices.
• Manage project budgets, provide personnel cost reports, and oversee bid preparation and analysis.
• Conduct construction administration duties, including site visits and maintaining project communication and documentation.
• Demonstrate proficiency in industry-standard software, including Revit and AutoCAD, and organize project files efficiently.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in CAD in architectural/interiors and 5 years of Revit experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and MS Project. Proficiency in Procore is advantageous.
• Deep familiarity with project management tools, building codes, and construction processes.
• Strong leadership working with and overseeing production teams and managing project deliverables.
• Excellent communication skills, with a disposition for critical thinking, problem-solving, and versatility.

• A full-time role with a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $115,000 per year.
