DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Patrols buildings of Eagle Mountain Casino to prevent and discover crimes, maintain order, and answer calls and complaints.
- Escorts money, chip fills, machine and hand-written tickets carried by casino Team Members.
- Observes and signs for opening of machines and stands guard on drop and count activities.
- Assures safety of Team Members and guests while on casino property, and other areas of the Reservation as determined by management.
- To always remain mobile in securing all areas of the casino.
- Cooperate with, and enforce all regulations, laws, and procedures of all casino departments and outside law enforcement agencies.
- Escort guests and Team Members; determined to be detrimental to the gaming operation on or off the casino premises when requested by authorized casino management and Gaming Agency personnel.
- Ensure compliance of all departmental policies and procedures.
- Must attend and be certified in all applicable training programs required.
- All other departmental duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid California Guard Card.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred.
- Displays willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate judgment; supports and explains reasoning for decisions; includes appropriate people in decision-making process.
- Possess First Aid and CPR Certificate or obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, and background check.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent guest service skills.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Must have strong report writing skills.
- Must be professional, polite, and respectful towards guests and Team Members.
- Must be able to handle extended hours when needed.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience, tact, and respect.
- Law enforcement or security background preferred.
- Ability to read, write clearly and informatively, and comprehend documents pertaining to security policies & procedures, rules and regulations, and operating instructions.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- The ability to take directions and follow orders.
- Able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:
- While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to walk, talk, hear, stand, run, and sit.
- Repeatedly required to use hand to finger, reach with hands, arms and handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- This position may require the movements and strength to incapacitate or subdue other persons for the protection of safety of self and others.
- Must be able to perform in outdoor environments with frequent exposure to unpredictable weather conditions including heat, rain, cold and wind.
- This job also may require the use of a vehicle; Team Member must be able to have those repetitive motions and coordination associated with operating a motor vehicle.
- Must be able to work in a noisy and smoke-filled environment.
- The noise level is moderate to high on the casino floor, or around equipment, fire trucks, lights, and sirens.
- Exposed daily to flashing lights and ringing bells while on the casino floor.
- Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

HOURS: The casino operates 24/7. Hours will vary and some weekends.
SALARY: $/hr. / weekly pay / overtime eligible
