Duties and Responsibilities
· Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy of data including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
· Perform daily payroll department operations, including collecting and verifying timesheet information and processing payroll changes.
· Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
· Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
· Process and reconcile all benefit related invoicing and reporting.
· Provide employee's benefit information such as retirement plans, medical, dental, life insurance, disability, wellness, and leave of absence.
· Coordinate the annual open enrollment process.
· Ensure benefits are applied consistently and in compliance with company policies and government regulations including ACA, HIPPA, ERISA, COBRA.
· Serve as the primary contact for payroll and benefits inquiries and issues, resolving concerns in a timely manner.
· Coordinate with the HR team to ensure that all employee records are maintained accurately with respect to payroll and benefits.
· Perform quarterly and year-end payroll tasks including the preparation of W-2s and other tax forms.
· Stay current with payroll regulations, standards, and best practices.
· Furnish relevant payroll, benefits, or HR reports to concerned stakeholders as required, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information.
· Partner with peer group to maintain processes and procedures, make improvements to increase efficiencies.
· Maintain the security and confidentiality of personnel related data.
In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
· High School diploma or equivalent plus 2-3 years of related experience or in lieu of experience, college degree preferred.
· Technology orientation required; Proficient in payroll and benefits software systems, (ADP Vantage preferred)
· Demonstrated advance proficiency with Excel and other MS Office products (Word, Powerpoint etc.)
· Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding payroll and benefits.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Strong numerical aptitude and data entry skills.
· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to adjust to multiple demands and/or shifting priorities while meeting established deadlines.
· Demonstrates strong self-motivation and the ability to take initiative while also excelling in a collaborative team environment, effectively communicating and partnering with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
Preferred Qualifications
· Proficiency with ADP Vantage preferred.

Pay: $26.16 - $31.87 per hour
