Role Summary/Purpose:
This position will report to the VP, Benefits North America within the Total Rewards organization and will play a key role in developing and administering Synchrony’s benefits programs. A successful candidate will be a self-motivated, analytical problem solver who is detail oriented and eager to grow professionally within the Benefits field. This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. Essential Responsibilities:
Consult with internal business segments on Synchrony benefit programs, policies and practices
Support HR Managers with benefits related matters
Provide escalated support related to HR Service Center and benefit providers
Effectively manage and resolve Workday Benefits Cases
Manage smaller supplier/vendor relationships, effectively partnering with Governance team.
Conduct reporting and analytics as required
Play a major role in the benefits enrollment planning process for the overall organization
Work cross-functionally with Risk, Regulatory, Compliance and Audit teams to drive and support critical business initiatives
Partner with and provide support to external regulators as required
Monitor the industry and external market and provide analysis on the impact of relevant developments in the benefits and rewards arena
Provide general back-up coverage for members of the US Benefits Team
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of benefits administration experience; or in lieu of a Bachelor Degree, a High School Diploma / GED and 4 years of benefits administration experience within a corporate environment.
Strong analytical skills
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

The salary range for this position is 55,000.00 - 104,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
