KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• This position will be responsible for the slotting process and back up for transportation, including communication with internal and external customers
• Must adhere to SOP procedures, critical to company guidelines and policies
• Utilize multiple systems; SAP, Acumax, Microsoft applications such as Access, Excel, Outlook, etc
• Needs to demonstrate good decision-making skills utilizing strategic thinking under moderate direction
• Supports various slotting related functions in both the office and the warehouse
• Verify and maintain compliance records of item quality, product rotation and inventory related documentation
• Maintain organized and detailed records
• Evaluate and research potential move challenges and suggest improvements
• Daily review and location assignments of new items
• Participate in projects to improve operations efficiencies

Shift Details : Monday Friday 5 : 00 am 1 : 30 pm Overtime as required

Minimum Qualifications :

Typically requires 3 years of related experience

Critical Skills :

• 3 years of work-related experience is preferred; 1 year of McKesson warehouse or distribution center experience is required.
• 6 months of experience utilizing Power Industrial Equipment as needed and maintain appropriate certifications. (i.e. Forklift, cherry picker, powered pallet jack.

Training will be provided to those willing to learn and must be able to maintain certification.

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills in English with the ability to express ideas, opportunities, and concerns verbally and in writing.

Internal Applicant’s

• Current McKesson associates must meet performance standards for present position.
• Associate must not have more than a verbal warning for attendance.
• Associate must not have received a disciplinary action above a verbal warning within the past six months.
• Associate must be in current position for 1 year.
• Must not have had a safety incident in the last year.
• Must have a good attendance record.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience or exposure in quality / inventory / slotting is preferred.
• Exposure or use of SAP, ACCUMAX is preferred.

Physical Demands (may be required for position) :

• Ability to walk up to 10 miles throughout the course of a shift (steps vary per shift)
• Ability to lift 20-40 pounds repetitively throughout the course of a shift without assistance; ability to lift greater weights in a team lift (weight varies based on product)
• May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day.
• May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.
• May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.
• Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
• May work in refrigerated / cold areas.
• Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$16.22 - $27.04
