    Position Overview

    The HR / Benefits Coordinator takes the lead role within the HR function at ICS for Benefits Administration including Health and Welfare and Financial Benefits (our 401k retirement savings plan). Additionally, the position works closely with other HR team members to provide assistance and serve as a backup for other HR processes. We are a fast-moving department with a rapidly growing workforce across the United States.

    SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

    • Administer various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness benefits.
    • Works closely with the HR, VP to plan for future employee benefit program changes to support our growth goals.
    • Conduct benefit orientations and explain benefits self-enrollment system.
    • Ensures benefit information is correctly captured in the ICS HRIS/Payroll System (Paylocity).
    • Assist employees with routine health, dental, life and other related benefit questions. Involves ICS’s Benefit Consultant when needed to answer more complex questions and resolve issues. Ensures all employees are communicated with effectively.
    • Administers ICS’s Leave of Absence programs and communicates relevant information to employees planning for or on LOA.
    • Works with ICS’s COBRA administrator to ensure timely processing of COBRA applications.
    • Assist with additional day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties, either as primary owner or back-up to another team member. Examples include employee onboarding/offboarding, workers compensation administration, and time and attendance administration.
    • Deal with routine employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations. Escalates to another HR team member when necessary.
    • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.).
    • May occasionally provide support for other ICS Administrative processes.
    Requirements:


    • 3 years of proven experience within a Human Resources function. Experience administering employee benefit and/or retirement savings plans is strongly preferred.
    • Strong computer proficiency required - Word, Excel, Outlook, & PowerPoint
    • Hands-on experience with an HR Information System is required. Paylocity or other fully integrated HR/Payroll systems experience a plus.
