Payroll/Benefits Coordinator: Auditor’s Office is accepting applications for the position of Payroll/Benefits Coordinator. Position provides administrative & technical support for payroll; benefits; State & Federal requirements; provides support to employees & HR and payroll projects. Position requires a mix of functional & technical skills in day-to-day management. Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of all employee records. Involves independent judgment in analyzing issues & making recommendations for resolution.

Qualifications: Associate’s degree (AA) with major course work in payroll, accounting or related field & three years related experience OR Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in accounting, payroll or related field & two years related experience OR Equivalent combination of education & experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation: Full Time, FLSA Grade 17 exempt position, Start pay $ 5,760.48, salary range $5,760.48 to $7,516.12 monthly, DOE. Full medical benefits, including dental and vision. Retirement provided through Washington State DRS. 12 days of vacation to start, 11 paid holidays, sick leave and bereavement leave.DOQ. May occasionally include evening or weekend hours.
